Picture of Buddy

Hi everyone!  My name is Roger Buddy Andrew Boane.  A very long name for a tall fellow.  I am 6’4″ tall.  I retired from law enforcement in Tennessee after 36 years.  That was in 5 different departments.   I was not smart enough (and no one told me) to put the money I received from retirement into a retirement fund so I would have it when i got to retirement age.  So I did not.

Now….. why this website.  Well, as healthy as I am, most people think I’m 45 ( I am 60), I now have melanoma cancer.  Melanoma cancer is a very aggressive cancer and it is on my right heel.  I have had one operation and about a third of my heel is now gone.  Now after learning how to walk again,  the doctors say the cancer is back after only 5 months.  Like I said it is very aggressive!  Because of this I have not worked in over 5 months.  My wife’s income and a small pension from the state of Tennessee is what we are living on right now.  If it were not for my family, friends, and our church we would have lost our house and well as our 2 vehicles.  We now know first hand how hard mentally, physically, and financially it is to go through this ordeal.  That is why we are looking for help because as most everyone knows, that has had cancer or had a loved one with cancer, there are no programs out there to help with finances unless you are at poverty level or under.

We have a T-Shirt that we have created and are looking for donations to help us with our bills.  They come in safety orange, royal blue and safety pink.  You can get one of these t-shirts to help support us.  The children’s t-shirts are $10, the adults are $15 up to a XXL and shirts larger than XXL are $18.   These donations will also be used to help me in May 2016 ride a bicycle across Tennessee from east to west to promote the deadly effects of melanoma cancer.

Whatever is left over from the donations will be used to help

others that have cancer  (any cancer) with their everyday bills.  We are looking for sponsors to help with the bike ride and your company name will be put on the t-shirt on the t-shirt.  So if you have a business, and would like to become a sponsor, please e-mail me or call me at 931-446-0439 .  We also ask for your prayers and encouragement.  These are just as important so I can win this fight!  And with your help, I know I can!

My team thanks you and we look forward to hearing from you.
